Filip Fransson is a Swedish actor based between London and Sweden.

With a strong physical presence, grounded charisma and a naturally playful energy, Filip is drawn to characters that exist between comedy and drama — men who can be powerful and vulnerable, funny and emotionally complex.

He trained at East 15 Acting School, graduating with an MFA in Acting for Stage and Digital Media. His training spans screen acting, theatre, voice, performance capture, physical performance and ADR. He has also worked professionally in Sweden and trained at Shakespeare's Globe.

Alongside his acting work, Filip has a background in puppetry and physical storytelling, and has a strong interest in music. He is a singer and multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, bass, drums and piano.

He is particularly interested in complex characters with rich emotional lives — and in work that allows humour and vulnerability to exist alongside strength.

Filip works across film, television, theatre, voice and performance capture, and is currently developing his career across the UK and Scandinavia.
